Pet Portraits with Santa

Did you know that Santa is a dog whisperer? You bet! Thankfully, we were able to offer him an opportunity to show off his skills.

The Farm’s annual “Pet Portraits with Santa” event on November 30th and December 1st featured a chance for pets and their families to get professional portraits taken for Christmas cards, newsletters, and pictures to pull out in 20 years to embarass the kids. In addition, each portrait benefitted Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue.

As usual, Leila Grossman of Grannis Photography spared no effort in obtaining the perfect shot. Some subjects (canine and human) went through numerous wardrobe changes, while others were lured into the perfect quizzical head-tilt. Hot apple cider, cookies, and a cheerful fire all contributed to the mood, while our signature “OH WOW THAT IS SO HUGE AND BEAUTIFUL!” Christmas tree presided over all.

If you weren’t able to come this year, go ahead and put “Pet Portraits with Santa” on your calendar for next year. It’s a great way to show off the furry members (be they Fido or Uncle Harry) of your family at their best! Check out the video of the event below, courtesy of The Tennesseean!
