Vaccine And Health Requirements

The health and safety of each of our guests is very important to us. All pets must be current in accordance with our policy:

DOGS:

  • As of November 1, 2022, we require that all dogs are fully vaccinated against Canine Influenza H3N2. Please see here for details and other information.
  • Bordetella : must have been administered within the previous 6 months
  • Distemper/Parvo Virus: should be up to date according to your veterinarian’s policy
  • Rabies: should be up to date according to your veterinarian’s policy
  • Puppies should have received all rounds of puppy shots, including Rabies, and have been vaccinated against Bordetella and Canine Influenza H3N2.
  • If your dog has had a respiratory illness that’s contagious to other dogs, such as Canine Cough or Canine Flu, we cannot permit him/her to visit The Farm until a minimum of 21 days has passed since diagnosis, without any setback in the  recovery and without ongoing symptoms. We appreciate your partnership in keeping all our guests healthy and safe.

CATS:

  • Rabies: should be up to date according to your veterinarian’s policy
  • FVRCP: should be up to date according to your veterinarian’s policy
  • Kittens should have received all rounds of kitten shots, including Rabies.


ALL PETS:

Vaccines must have been administered by a Veterinary Clinic. We do not accept self-administered vaccines or those administered by third-parties who are not veterinarians (e.g: rescue organizations). If your pet requires an updated vaccination, it should be done no later than 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date.  Titers will be accepted with proper documentation.

*If you have any concerns about vaccines, we advise consulting your veterinarian to make the best decision for your pet.

  • UPLOAD record from your Customer Portal under “Other Links” “Upload File; or
  • EMAIL record to reception@thefarmatnatcheztrace.com; ; or
