The Farm again had the wonderful honor of hosting our annual Magdalene House Christmas Party. Our lobby was filled so many smiling faces, warm-hearted laughter, and Christmas songs.
Magdalene was founded in 1997 by Becca Stevens, an Episcopal priest, as a residential program for women who have survived lives of prostitution, trafficking, addiction and life on the streets. Residents live in one of six homes and Magdalene offers housing, food, medical and dental care, therapy, education, and job training at no charge to the women.
As usual, the women of Magdalene House were wonderful guests as usual, providing us all with a night of laughter, singing, and inspiration, and we are all looking forward to celebrating with them again next year!
